We took a leap of faith seven years ago and left our jobs to open our award-winning bakery, Outsider Tart, in Chiswick, West London. Since then we were voted Cafe/Fast Food Outlet of the Year at the 2010 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards and named a 2010 cultural hot spot by the Observer newspaper. Random House published our first book, “Baked” in 2011. Rizzoli USA published ‘Piece of Cake: home baking made simple” in the US in 2012. Also in 2012, “The Evening Standard” single out our cookies, pies and sausage rolls as some of the best in London.

If you have ever had a dream of chucking it all and starting your own bakery, we want to help you realize your dream. Join us on our, sometimes hard but always rewarding, adventure. We will provide you all the ingredients. You just have to add lots of pluck, patience and passion.
